Being one of the largest locations for photography and videography in Canada, we offer several ready-to-use stages - which include a Cyclorama, a Kitchen Studio, as well as an LED Wall for Virtual Production. All of the following stages are available In-House and make productions much more timely and cost-efficient. With that in mind, anyone can start working immediately; using our In-House cameras, lighting, lenses, sound equipment and motion control robot. SP Studios eliminates the need to search for external studio space and equipment as our facilities allow you to focus on creating without distraction.
Even without the evident financial benefits of renting space at SP Studios, our studio holds many opportunities and advantages for photographers, videographers, directors and everyone in between. The first advantage lies within our specialized equipment!
We have a large selection of In-House photo and video cameras, a Bolt X motion control robot, a Magnum MovieTech Dolly and so much more. In addition, when renting a stage, you can rely on the help of our professional staff: They are there to help you set-up, shoot and operate our gear. All of our stages can be adapted to help bring your vision to life. Whether it be using props, drop-down backgrounds, green screen or the world created on the LED Wall itself - we promise individuality in every project created at SP Studios.
Each of our main stages, the Cyclorama and LED Wall, are equipped with individual GrandMA3 systems which allow for complete control over the lighting systems. These include various ARRI Skypanels and Orbiters. We provide versatile lighting on a grid which helps our clients achieves a powerful and even lighting. The rental studio also allows usage of lighting modifiers, such as honeycombs, grids, softboxes and diffusers. At SP Studios, you can create the lighting look that is most suitable to the environment you are creating.

Our studio offers a wide variety of different backdrops, decorations, and stages. For shooting content that feels limitless, you can use our Cyclorama. To add a dynamic environment for your video, you can use our LED Wall. We should also highlight our meticulously equipped and decorated themed stages, such as our Kitchen Stage and Shower Stage. Each stage available for rent is notable for its stylish design, large space and various professional equipment. Everything is ready-to-go, and if you require the environment to be more personalized, you only need to add a couple of touch ups. Let us take care of the rest.

SP Studios is one of the largest rental studios in Canada and offers a wide range of the newest and most sophisticated equipment, right in your very hands. With the RED V-Raptor XL, Sony Venice 2, Phantom Flex4k and ARRI Alexa 35 available In-House, you can bring your wildest dreams to life. We also offer the Bolt X robot among other equipment. We also integrated Unreal Engine 5 with our LED Wall to create powerful virtual environments.

In-House Rentals allows clients to rent our studio space(s) and equipment for a day or for multiple days depending on what the use is for. The rental gear will never be leaving the studio so you will never face the risk of having the gear, props and/or space you need taken away from you.
We do not allow our equipment to be used and/or brought outside of the studio at this time.
Seeing as we only offer In-House Rentals, all our equipment and studio space is allocated to you for the duration of your rental.
We understand accidents happen. However, if you break, rip, stain, or do any form of property damage, you will be charged a replacement fee, depending on the item. Any floor damage is subject to a repair fee ranging between $250 – $1000.
Yes, you can bring your own team into the studio. However, there are certain pieces of equipment that are ONLY operated by our In-House team. Even if you or someone on your crew has experience operating this equipment, for the safety of everyone on-set only our staff will be operating it. For example, the Bolt X and MovieTech Dolly will only be operated by our In-Studio team.
Dry ice, haze and fog machines are allowed. Wax candles, open flames, slime, and sparklers are prohibited. If you are bringing confetti, glitter, artificial snow, sand, feathers, or flowers into the space, please also indicate that at the time of booking.
Unfortunately, no. Our In-Studio team is in charge of the equipment and managing the gear (Cameras, Grip, Bolt X etc.) for your rental and will not be teaching you how to operate the equipment.
